Managing related parties

What we were working on

A lifecycle management and KYC application presenting all related parties associated with onboarding, risk assessment, compliance status, and other important criteria part of the banking protocols.

What I did

  • Created a meaningful design language for the graph consisting of iconography, a neutral color scheme and connection types
  • Advised on classification of types to provide meaningful filter options
  • Iterated in tandem with CLM/KYC designer

Outcome

Concept showcasing filter options and a legend to support investigations.
Prototype evaluating interplay of elements and layout algorithm.
On an experience level
  • An intuitive interface that let’s users understand related parties, and ownership levels on a single screen as opposed on 3 screens and hierarchical tables.
  • Reduced cognitive efforts, because all information is shown on one screen that users can interact with. Risk levels can be revealed within one click.
